Mental Health in the African Diaspora — A Podium Discussion with Special Guests

ZAF Impact Summit · Podium Discussion

Mental health is not a luxury. It is a necessity — and within the African diaspora, it is a conversation long overdue.

At the ZAF Impact Summit, we bring together voices, experiences, and expertise for an honest, open podium discussion on mental health within the African and Afro-diasporic community.

Too often, mental health struggles go unspoken — shaped by cultural stigma, generational silence, and the unique pressures of navigating identity across borders. This evening, we create space to change that. Special guests will share their perspectives, their stories, and their insights, opening up a broader conversation about healing, community, and self-care.

"Mental health is not a weakness. It is a conversation — and we're starting it here."

The evening doesn't end on stage. Following the discussion, join us for the Afterparty — a chance to connect, unwind, and continue the conversation in a welcoming and celebratory atmosphere.

Whether you are personally navigating these challenges, working in wellness or community care, or simply want to show up for this important dialogue, this event is for you.
